Gut Healing Homemade Ranch

As a mom who values natural health, clean eating, and providing healthy recipes for my family, I’m excited to share one of our favorite homemade dressings: Gut-Healing Ranch. This isn’t your typical ranch dressing; it’s made with homemade, prebiotic-packed yogurt that supports gut health while delivering amazing flavor.

The Secret Ingredient: Homemade Yogurt

What makes this ranch truly special is the yogurt. Unlike most store-bought yogurts that are fermented for only 4 hours, I carefully craft my yogurt and ferment it for 36 hours. This extended fermentation time allows the healthy bacteria to bloom to their fullest potential, resulting in a yogurt that is rich in probiotics and beneficial for gut health.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup homemade Greek yogurt (packed with probiotics!)

  • 1/4 cup dried parsley

  • 1 tsp dried dill

  • 2 tsp garlic powder

  • 2 tsp minced onion

  • 1 tbsp dried chives

  • 1 tsp mustard powder

  • 1 tsp black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Blend Dry Seasonings: In a blender, combine dried parsley, dried dill, garlic powder, minced onion, dried chives, mustard powder, and black pepper. Blend until well combined into a fine powder.

  2. Mix with Yogurt: Stir the blended dry seasoning mix into 1 cup of homemade Greek yogurt. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

  3. Store and Enjoy: Transfer your homemade gut-healing ranch into a jar or airtight container. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld together before serving.
